About Home Sweet Home Page

Your website’s homepage is its most valuable virtual real estate. If it doesn’t grab your visitor’s attention, you may not get a second chance. Home Sweet Home Page helps authors, speakers, and coaches make sure that this real estate effectively supports their business goals. This second edition expands on what was in the first edition, adding information on online presence in general, SEO tips, and more.

“I wrote Home Sweet Home Page because I saw my fellow authors, speakers, and coaches making simple mistakes with their websites that could be easily fixed,” said Carma Spence, award-winning author of the bestselling book Public Speaking Super Powers. “But I also knew that websites and marketing were not always their focus or strength.

“I set out to create something simple and easy to understand so that they could get great results without having to learn web design or coding, or even take a lengthily online course to get results. The outcome is something that gives them the basics they need so they can do it themselves, or at least know if their webmaster or virtual assistant is doing it right.

“The first edition got great reviews back in 2009 and now I’ve updated the book with new information, including a sixth Deadly Mistake … and according to Amazon Kindle, the book still only takes about 20 minutes to read!”
